As the Photographer and Media Assistant for the Cleveland Museum of Natural History, I found myself in some unusual situations. I followed curators and Museum staff into forests and swamps. I scrambled over bog mats searching for a rare native orchid and traveled a mile under Lake Erie to photograph the workings of a salt mine. I traveled to Medicine Hat, Alberta to photograph a dinosaur dig and met some cowboys. I traveled to the Afar Region of Ethiopia on a search for human ancestors and taught the locals how to play frisbee.
